About Us

We are a locally owned and family operated business with over 20 years of installation experience and product knowledge behind us. 

First opening as a retail floor covering store in March 2010 called ‘Black Sheep Carpets’, we started out supplying and installing residential and commercial Carpet, Vinyl, Timber and Laminate flooring and soon after we expanded into Polished Concrete, Epoxy Floor Coatings, Synthetic Turf, Playground Rubber and Window Coverings.

In November 2023 we decided to consolidate our available products and services and after almost 14 years of doing the hard yards, we decided to close our retail show room and move away from residential floor coverings. We do still offer the supply and installation of commercial floor coverings.

So……. Moving forward with our business we now offer the following products and services, available for residential, commercial and industrial applications.

• Polished Concrete.
• Synthetic Turf.
• Indoor and Outdoor Rubber Surfaces (inc. soft fall playground rubber, gym flooring rubber, animal flooring and more).
• Epoxy Resin Coatings.
• Concrete Grinding and Leveling.
• Synthetic & Acrylic Sports Surfaces (ie. Tennis Courts).
• Commercial Grade Floor Coverings (Carpet Tiles, Vinyl Planks, Safety Vinyl and more…..).

We still have the name ‘Black Sheep Carpets’ but to further define our products & services available, we also have our trading names ‘Black Sheep Polished Concrete’ and ‘Black Sheep Synthetic Surfaces’.

Based in Tamworth NSW, we cover a large area, servicing the New England, North West, Hunter and Mid Coast Regions.
